What happens after I make a claim to Stand Tū Māia?

The Chief Executive of Stand Tū Māia will respond to your claim. They will also find out whether any health camp records about you exist.  If they find your records, you can get a copy of them. Learn more about what happens when you request health camp records.If Stand Tū Māia accepts your claim, you can receive support and / or a payment of up to $10,000. 

Support can include: 

• psychotherapy  
• support with Work and Income or Kainga Ora 
• family therapy 
• payment of expenses, such as: 
  
  • Kohanga Reo 
  • Student loan repayments 
  • Payment for a vehicle so you can travel to work, take your children to school etc 
  • Contributing to your legal fees.
