When Stand Tū Māia took over the health camps from the Children’s Health Camps Board in 2000, they also took on the responsibility to respond to claims. This means Stand Tū Māia will consider any claims from before they took over (as well as claims made since they took over).

Oranga Tamariki funding for Stand Tu Maia ends on 22 April 2025. This may affect the outcome of your claim.

If your claim is about the actions of a teacher at a health camp school before 2012, you can make a sensitive claim with the Ministry of Education.
