You should receive the records within 10 working days

The Salvation Army say that they should:

  • reply to you within one to three working days
  • get records to you within 10 working days.

However, it might take longer:

  • during a staff shortage (for example, due to illness)
  • if the staff have a lot of work to do
  • over the Christmas and New Year break.

If it will take longer than 20 working days to complete your request, under the Privacy Act they need to tell you why and how much longer it will take them.

If you need the records urgently, let them know and they will try to get the information to you sooner.
