You can tell the Ministry how you would like to receive your records

When you request your records, you can tell the Ministry of Education how you want them delivered to you.

For example, you might ask for:

  • printed copies sent to you by courier
  • electronic copies sent to you by email.

The Ministry can also provide them to someone else, such as a counsellor or other support person, if you want someone else to support you while you look at the information.

If you are making your request from prison, you may only be able to receive your records as paper copies.

Requesting your records can bring up a range of emotions. Learn where you can find support to help you before, during, and after you have received your records.
