New Zealand ACC Sensitive Issue Claimants Support is a non-profit group that provides help with making an ACC Sensitive Claim. Anyone can be your advocate (for example, a friend or family member), but an ACC advocate is someone who has experience and knowledge of how ACC works.
If you are unhappy with ACC’s response to your claim an ACC advocate can help with making a complaint or applying for an independent review or appeal of ACC’s decisions.
You can expect to pay for an ACC advocate’s help, but most will have a discussion first with you for free – check with them before you agree to meet with them.

Navigation Services is a free, independent service to help people navigate the ACC system. ACC also has Te Ara Tuhono, which is their Kaupapa Māori Navigation Service. This service is provided through local Māori providers.
